This maki-e lacquer plate is decorated with a design associated with Fukurokuju, one of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune. The motif is rendered in gold decoration against a black lacquer ground, creating an elegant and refined appearance. It can be enjoyed both as a functional plate and as a decorative display piece.

A "rusu-monyo" (absence motif) is a decorative design that suggests a particular person or story without depicting the figure directly. Instead, it conveys the subject through associated objects, personal belongings, or symbolic elements.

This item is sold individually. Please select the desired quantity when ordering.
