Condition of art pieces
- As is typical of works of art of unknown authorship or date of production, there are often no official records of the time of their creation, making it difficult to provide absolute guarantees of authenticity. Information on the artist (or presumed artist), period, media, etc. of the items listed in our online store is for reference only, and we do not guarantee the accuracy or truthfulness of such information. Please be sure to make your purchase decisions based on your own responsibility and judgment.
- We try to state on each product page any damage that may reduce the value of the work as much as possible, but due to the nature of the products, there may be minor scratches or stains that cannot be described.
- Information regarding "repair history" or "changes over time" may be incomplete.
- Please note that for framed paintings, the frame is an accessory that is not included in the price of the item. When you purchase a work, the frame will be provided free of charge as an accessory along with the painting, but the condition of the frame will not be covered by any compensation. Old frames or highly decorative frames are particularly prone to damage, and there is a possibility that parts may be broken, stained, or missing.

We do not accept returns for reasons of customer convenience after purchase. However, you can check the actual product before purchasing at our physical store in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

Regarding sales and shipping to overseas
- We offer international shipping via EMS (Express Mail Service).
For items medium size or smaller, orders can be completed online, and shipping costs are automatically calculated by our system.
For items large size or larger, please contact us in advance via the inquiry form. - Orders are usually shipped within approximately one week from the order date.
Please note that shipping may take longer during year-end and New Year holidays or Japanese public holidays. - Depending on the item’s contents, size, or shape, the automatically calculated shipping fee may be higher than the actual cost.
If the shipping fee appears high, please feel free to contact us, and we will be happy to provide a revised quote. - For items that may exceed the maximum size limits for EMS delivery (large size or larger), a separate shipping quote is required.

- Customs duties, import taxes, and value-added tax (VAT) are not included in the item price or shipping fee.
These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are determined by the regulations of the destination country or region. - Please note that some items (such as ivory) are subject to export restrictions under the CITES (Washington Convention) and cannot be exported.
- Please also note that items you inquire about will continue to be available for sale on our website and in-store until a purchase agreement is reached.
